This page covers the printable activity books. Everything else we sell is a physical object and is covered by our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy instead.

What you are buying
PDF files that you download and print yourself. Nothing is posted to you, and there is nothing to wait for. Each purchase includes every book in that set, in both A4 and US Letter, and the files do not expire.
How you receive them
Your download links are emailed to the address you give at checkout, and they also appear on the order confirmation page in your browser. That normally happens within a minute of payment.
If nothing arrives, check your spam or promotions folder first, then email hello@softseason.store with your order number and we will send the files directly. We reply within 1–2 business days, Monday to Friday. A missing email is our problem to solve, not yours, and it is never a reason you cannot have what you paid for.
Refunds
If the files are not what you expected, tell us and we will refund you in full. We do not ask you to prove anything and we do not need a reason. Email hello@softseason.store with your order number.
There are three specific situations worth naming, because they are the ones that come up:
- A file will not open or will not print. Tell us what happens and we will fix the file or refund you. This is a fault, and faults are always ours.
- You bought the wrong age band. We will swap it for the right one, or refund the difference if the right one costs less. Free samples of every age band are on the samples page precisely so this does not have to happen.
- You have already downloaded and printed it and simply do not want it. We will still refund you. You keep the files, because there is no way to take a download back and pretending otherwise would be theatre.
Refunds go back to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. We do not issue store credit instead of a refund unless you ask for it.
Your right to cancel, and how downloading affects it
Consumer law in several countries gives you a period in which you may withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason — commonly 14 days. For digital content supplied immediately, that right normally ends once the download begins, and by starting a download you are agreeing to immediate supply and acknowledging that.
We do not rely on that. Our own refund promise above is broader than the statutory right and we apply it regardless of whether you have downloaded the files. Where the law gives you more than we promise, the law applies.
What you may do with the files
You are buying a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your own household, and it does not expire.
Please do:
- Print as many copies as you like, as often as you like, for the children in your family.
- Print the same page forty times if that is the page they want.
- Print copies for a birthday party, a long car journey, or a hospital waiting room.
- Give a printed copy to a friend's child.
Please don't:
- Resell, sub-licence or give away the files themselves, in whole or in part.
- Upload them anywhere others can download them, including file-sharing sites, teaching resource marketplaces and social media.
- Use the artwork, puzzles or page layouts in anything you sell.
- Remove or alter the Soft Season name from the pages.
We keep the copyright in the artwork, the puzzles and the layouts. Every illustration was drawn by us for these books, which is why we can say that and mean it.
Teachers, childminders and nurseries
A single licence covers one household or one childminding setting. If you want to print for a classroom, a nursery or more than one setting, email hello@softseason.store — we will sort something out, and it will be straightforward.
Printing them
Choose 100% or Actual Size in your print dialog, not "fit to page". Every page is laid out to fit both A4 and US Letter without scaling, so nothing will be cut off on either. The books are designed to print in black and white: no page needs colour to be solvable, and colour-by-number keys print the colour's name in words as well as its number.
Where we can sell them
Digital sales carry country-specific tax rules that we are not yet set up to handle everywhere. The countries we can sell downloads to are the ones offered at checkout. If your country is not among them, that is a limitation on our side and not a judgement about you — email us and we will tell you honestly whether it is likely to change.
Updates to the books
If we correct or improve a book you have bought, you get the updated file at no charge. Email hello@softseason.store with your order number and we will send the current version.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page limits rights you have by law. If you are in India, the Consumer Protection Act 2019 applies. If you are in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies, including its provisions on digital content. If you are in the EU, your national implementation of the Consumer Rights Directive and the Digital Content Directive applies. Where our promise is more generous than the law, our promise applies; where the law is more generous, the law applies.
Unhappy with how we handled something? Write to our Grievance Officer, named on our Privacy Policy page. We acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within one month.
