How it is made
Made by a person, after you order
Nothing is taken from stock. Your wrap is started the day you order, crocheted by hand by a maker in a cooperative that has worked this craft for roughly two centuries.
It is looped row by row with a hook, not knitted by a machine. That is why no two are identical, and why the one you receive is yours rather than a copy of a photograph.
What happens after you order
- OrderedWe email you when yours is begun
- Made by hand2–3 days, start to finish
- Delivered2–5 days domestic · 7–21 days international
Crochet takes as long as it takes, so we will not invent a delivery date. We email you when yours is begun, send a photograph when it is finished, and tell you the moment it ships.
Before it leaves us
You see yours before it ships
We photograph the actual wrap going into your parcel and send it to you. If it is not what you expected, we remake it free, before dispatch. You decide, not us.
If it arrives damaged or wrong
Email within 30 days with a photo. We remake and reship free, or refund in full — and you don't need to post the original back.
If you change your mind
Within 24 hours of ordering, if work hasn't started, we cancel and refund in full.
If it is lost in transit
We remake and reship at our cost.
What it is made of
Soft cotton, wooden buttons, six colours
Soft cotton yarn, a hood, two wooden buttons and arms tucked safely inside. Six colours, one price, shipping included worldwide.
Hand wash cool and lay flat to dry. Treated that way it outlasts the babyhood it was made for, which is rather the point.
Please read this bit. For cuddles, prams and photos while your baby is awake and with you. Not for unsupervised use. Always remove loose wraps before putting your baby down unattended. Two wooden buttons — check them before each use. Hand wash cool, lay flat to dry.
