Terms of service
Last updated 4 August 2026.
1. Who you are dealing with
This store, softseason.store, is operated by Astrion, trading as Astrion, of Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, India. "We", "us" and "our" mean that business. "Soft Season" is our brand.
Contact: hello@softseason.store. We reply within 1–2 business days, Monday to Friday.
By placing an order you agree to these terms, to our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of them.
2. Everything is made to order
We hold no stock. Placing an order is an offer to buy; a contract is formed when we email you to confirm your order has been begun, not at the moment of payment. If we cannot make your piece — the queue is full, the yarn colour is unavailable, or we have made a pricing error — we will tell you and refund you in full, without deductions.
Because every piece is crocheted by hand, small variations in stitch tension, dimensions and dye lot are inherent to the product and are not defects. We describe this openly on the product page and in the Refund Policy.
3. Age and capacity
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract to order from us.
4. Price, currency and tax
Prices are shown in INR unless your country has been enabled for local pricing, in which case the checkout shows the currency you will actually be charged. Delivery is included in the price. Import duty and local taxes on international orders are payable by the recipient — see the Shipping Policy.
We do not display crossed-out "was" prices, because we have not charged a higher price for the required period and it would therefore be misleading to imply we had.
If a price is displayed in obvious error, we will contact you before making anything and give you the choice of paying the correct price or being refunded in full.
5. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through Razorpay and PayPal. We do not see or store your card details. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own currency conversion or cross-border fee, which we neither set nor receive.
6. Safety — please read this one properly
Our wraps are made for cuddles, prams and photographs, while your baby is awake and with you.
- They are not a sleep product and must never be used for sleep, or for unsupervised use of any kind. Always remove a loose wrap before putting your baby down unattended.
- They contain two wooden buttons. Check them before every use and stop using the piece if one becomes loose.
- Loose yarn presents an entanglement risk. Adult supervision is required at all times.
By ordering you confirm you have read this and will use the product accordingly. Full detail is on our Safety & Care page, and the same wording is printed on the card in every box.
7. Our promises
The promises we publish — the photograph of your actual piece before dispatch, the 30-day photo-not-item remedy for a faulty or wrong item, remake-and-reship if a parcel is lost — are contractual and we intend to be held to them. Their scope and limits are set out on the Refund Policy page, and nothing there reduces your statutory rights.
8. Intellectual property
The Soft Season name, our logo, our photography and the words on this site belong to us. You may not copy our product photographs or copy for your own listings.
Our star wrap is made under a paid commercial licence from the pattern's independent designer, which permits the sale of finished items. That licence covers our finished pieces; it does not transfer to you and does not permit you to reproduce the pattern.
You are of course free to resell, gift or hand down the physical item you bought. It is meant to outlive the purchase.
9. Photographs and reviews you send us
If you send us a photograph or write a review and agree to it being published, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to show it on this site and on our social channels, with the name you gave us. You keep ownership. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will take it down. We do not publish anything about your child without your explicit agreement, and we never publish a review you did not write.
10. Acceptable use
Do not use this site to break the law, to attempt to gain access to systems or data that are not yours, to scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people, or to place fraudulent orders. We may cancel and refund any order we reasonably believe to be fraudulent.
11. Liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
Nothing here excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for defective products under applicable product liability law, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including courier and customs delay, postal disruption, natural events and government action. If such an event makes an order impossible we will refund you in full.
12. Third-party services
Parts of this store are provided by third parties — Shopify hosts it, Razorpay and PayPal process payment, couriers deliver it. Their own terms apply to their services. We choose them carefully but we do not control them.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. Material changes are announced by email to our list rather than silently reposted.
14. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your own country, and you may also bring proceedings there.
Complaints go first to hello@softseason.store, and then to our Grievance Officer, named on the Privacy Policy page — acknowledged within 48 hours, resolved within one month. Consumers in India may also approach the National Consumer Helpline or a Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. Consumers in the EU may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
