Our Promises
Four promises. Each one is specific, each one is bounded, and each one is written so you can hold us to it.
1. You see your actual piece before it ships
Before we dispatch, we photograph the piece we made for you — not a sample, not a stock image, not a render — and email it to you. If it is not what you expected, say so and we remake it free, before it ships. You decide, not us.
We publish this because most stores selling this product cannot do it. It is easy to promise a photograph of a real item when a real item exists.
2. If it arrives wrong, send a photo — not the item
Damaged, faulty, or the wrong colour? Email us within 30 days with a photograph. We remake and reship free, or refund you in full — your choice. You keep the original piece and you post nothing back.
Sending a parcel back to India would cost more than most of what we sell. A returns policy that quietly hands you that bill is not a promise, it is a maze.
3. If it is lost in transit, we make it again
We remake it and ship it at our cost. Chasing the courier is our job, not yours.
4. You can change your mind before we start
Cancel within 24 hours of ordering, before work has begun, for a full refund. After that, one person has already started crocheting a piece specifically for you, and there is no one else to sell it to — so we say no, rather than write a policy we would have to wriggle out of later.
Buying from the UK or the EU? Your statutory 14-day right to cancel applies in full and on top of this. The terms are set out on the Refund Policy page.
What we deliberately do not do
Because the absence is the point:
- No invented reviews, star ratings or customer counts. When we have reviews, they will be from people who bought something, collected through Judge.me so we cannot quietly edit them. Until then, there are none, and we would rather show you zero than a number we made up.
- No countdown timers. None of them are real.
- No "only 3 left". Nothing is in stock — every piece is made after you order it, so there is nothing to count down.
- No crossed-out prices. We have never charged more, so showing a higher price with a line through it would be a lie.
And the limits
Handmade variation in tension, dimension and dye lot is the product, not a defect. Machine washing will ruin it and is not covered. Ordinary wear over years is not a fault — though if it tears, write to us anyway; we would usually rather repair it than argue.
The full detail, including your statutory rights, is on the Refund Policy page. Safety and washing are on the Safety & Care page.
